MOTHER'S DAY MISSION: A group of mothers joined together today to search for their missing sons. 

All of the men, who are missing in separate cases, were last seen in San Francisco. The mothers are committed to keeping the cases in the spotlight as they search.

UPDATE ON VENICE BEACH SEARCH FOR SEAN SIDI - MAY 10, 2014

Sean remains missing. Still no picture or other confirmation that Sean is in Venice Beach (or anywhere else). K-9 Forensics has done their best. However, until confirmation in the form of a picture or confirmed sighting is rendered, we will assume that Sean could be ANYWHERE. 

TO DATE NEITHER PACIFIC POLICE SUB STATION (IN LOCALE OF VENICE BEACH) OR THE VENICE BEACH SUBSTATION HAS RETURNED OUR CALLS - over 3 days. TO DATE, NO "LIVE" PERSON AT THE MENTIONED POLICE STATIONS HAS PICKED UP THE TELEPHONE. Our usual procedure is to email Sean's flier to the appropriate police station. THIS IS THE ONLY INSTANCE in the year that Sean has been missing where WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE FROM A POLICE STATION. 

However, the SANTA MONICA POLICE STATION HAS distributed Sean's fliers to LE in Santa Monica (town NEXT to Venice Beach). 

WE WILL POST ANY UPDATES.

SAVE THE DATE: SATURDAY MAY 17TH - 1 YEAR WALK FOR SEAN SIDI. 

TO DATE APPROXIMATELY 45 PEOPLE HAVE CONFIRMED (VIA EMAIL) THAT THEY WILL ATTEND THE WALK FOR SEAN NEXT WEEK. WE WILL HAVE SPECIAL T SHIRTS FOR THOSE ATTENDING & would like a headcount, if possible.

Still searching FOR SEAN (SIDI) & ALWAYS looking for new ways to get the word out... 

THANKS to the INCREDIBLE generosity of "ACCESS UNIFORMS", we hope to DISTRIBUTE 100 FREE T SHIRTS PRINTED with Sean's colored MISSING PERSON FLIER, to those living in Golden Gate Park and to homeless shelters serving San Francisco's youths. 

It is hoped that this will HELP get the word out among the those living in the park/streets, about our desperate race against time, to find Sean SIDI.

Someone from Chicago, ILLINOIS sent me A PHOTO of this advertisement featuring SEAN SIDI (HAVE YOU SEEN ME?) in a local newspaper. Someone else in Washington D.C. also reported seeing the ad. 

Thank you to the 'National Center For Missing & Exploited Children' (NCMEC) for featuring Sean in ads across the United States. 

If you have friends or family in other states, please share Sean's FLIER WITH THEM. The further the word is spread about Sean, the better our chances of finding him

Another Tip Called in - Search for Sean SIDI

UPDATE HAIGHT ST. AREA  - Searchers/volunteers have been coming back with a lot of information but still NO CONFIRMATION that the sighting of "Sean" (described as wearing an oversized dark blue hoodie, jeans & HOLDING an injured LEFT WRIST) is OUR Sean. NONE of the photos sent in thus far is Sean. It is almost impossible to verify the varied accounts from those living in Golden Gate Park. VOLUNTEERS are continuing to MONITOR Gold...en Gate PARK - HAIGHT St. area.
ANOTHER TIP CALLED IN - SEARCH FOR SEAN SIDI
  
MARINA AREA - ANOTHER TIP came in LAST NIGHT from someone who saw someone who RESEMBLED Sean on CHESTNUT STREET (near Moscone Recreational Center) in the MARINA DISTRICT of San Francisco. THERE IS NO PHOTO & THIS IS UNCONFIRMED. "Sean" was wearing a dark colored hoodie, jeans and carrying a Jansport backpack. UNFORTUNATELY, "Sean" was gone before the person could speak to him or ascertain whether "Sean" wore braces, etc.

DUBOCE ST/GUERRERO - As posted earlier, someone reported seeing a person wearing a washboard in this area of SF.

PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR SEAN, NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE. TIPS ARE MOST FREQUENT IN THE SAN FRANCISCO & THE BAY AREA partly because awareness is highest here. However, from reading about other missing persons cases, we realize that Sean could be ANYWHERE.

WE WOULD LIKE TO ALSO THANK THE MANY VOLUNTEERS SEARCHING/POSTING IN SAN FRANCISCO / CALIFORNIA & THOSE WHO HAVE/ARE HELPING US POST SEAN'S FLIERS IN OTHER STATES. RECENTLY, VOLUNTEERS POSTED IN NEVADA, OREGON, WASHINGTON STATE, NORTH CAROLINA AND MISSOURI.

WE NEED PHOTOS OF "SEAN" SIDI

THUS FAR WE HAVE ONLY RECEIVED 2 PHOTOS OF "SEAN". 

If you are in San Francisco / Haight / Hippy Hill area, we need people 1) to DISTRIBUTE Sean's fliers to police and those in the park and 2) to TAKE A PHOTO OF ANYONE RESEMBLING SEAN & send TO 415.713.5913. DUE TO HIS TBI AND COMPLICATIONS, SEAN VERY LIKELY HAS NO MEMORY OF US, THEREFORE, WE NEED TO FIND HIM.

This is the report of someone who went out mid-week. 

'We talked to a group of 4 homeless kids at the north West end of Hippy Hill under the trees. They said they know of Sean and have seen him recently, but that he goes by Sidi and not Sean, sometimes wears a washboard on his chest, pillow case on his plays a steel drum, dimples, braces (she mentioned the braces without me mentioning them), says he use to wear punk clothing, big bushy hair and facial hair (thin facial hair). Sometime hangs with a girl (she said girlfriend, When we mentioned the brain injury and the steel plate, they said "that explains a lot". 

This search was prompted by a sighting of a young man fitting Sean's description in oversized blue hoodie (on Page & Stanyan St.) holding his LEFT WRIST. AT THE TIME THAT SEAN WENT MISSING IN MALY 2013, HE HAD BEEN MOVED FROM A DRY CAST TO A REMOVABLE CAST AFTER UNDEGOING (LEFT) WRIST SURGERY IN JANUARY. THIS WAS A VERY BAD BREAK. IF SEAN HAD REMOVED THE BLACK (REMOVABLE CAST), THE WRIST WOULD LIKELY NOT HAVE HEALED. 

PLEASE TAKE A PHOTO AND SEND TO 415.713.5913 - SEAN IS OUT THERE SOMEWHERE !!!!!!

Update on Search in GG Park for Sean SIDI Following Today's Sighting

For those NOT on facebook.com/findseansidi, there are many people out searching for Sean following the tip received this morning.  

This is a partial report from one group of searchers.

IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA, PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR SEAN !!!! There are many kids living in the park. The park police will probably not be able to pick Sean out from the many, many people living in the park near Hippy Hill (near Stanyan /Haight).
