SEAN SIDI TIP REC'D - WE NEED YOUR HELP

We have been provided with a detailed TIP that Sean MAY have been in the area of Redding, CA in February 2014.

Based on the (reliable) TIP, an Asian teen (between 17-19/20yrs) fitting Sean’s description (including the DROOPY right eye), WHO HAD NO MEMORY OF WHO HE WAS, appeared at a shelter and/or other location in Redding in February 2014.

The Asian teen, in addition to a memory loss, appeared in need of medical attention for sores etc.

WE ARE ASKING FOR HELP IN GETTING SEAN’S FLIER DISTRIBUTED in REDDING, CALIFORNIA & NEARBY TOWNS.

IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW CAN post fliers and/or PROVIDE FLIERS TO: POLICE, HOMELESS SHELTERS, HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOMS &/OR JUST POST THE FLIERS, in Redding, CA or nearby areas....

PLEASE email lynnkchng@yahoo.com to have fliers MAILED TO YOU.

WE are also reaching out to anyone who may have MEDIA CONTACTS in the local Redding, CA area.

WE WILL KEEP YOU POSTED AS information received is developed. (The above information does NOT preclude other recent sightings in SF or elsewhere. However, the most recent TIP is one of the strongest tips received to date, and if it can be confirmed - would give us hope that Sean is still alive - at least as of Feb 2014.)

See www.seansidi.com or www.facebook.com/findseansidi for more information on critically injured Sean SIDI (age 19) missing from San Francisco CA May 21, 2013. Sean may not know his name or his DIRE MEDICAL NEEDS due to a severe traumatic brain injury suffered shortly before going missing.

Today, Claude (Sean's dad), Danielle (Sean's sister) and Danielle's friends are out water skiing, swimming and tubing on Lake Sonoma. It makes me happy to know that Danielle is smiling and laughing with her friends...

I am desperately working on regaining some sense of ...?? healing?? happiness?? Not sure what the words are. Unfortunately, I do not know if that is possible given the depth of my sense of loss.

I thought I knew love - until Sean (my firstborn) & his sister arrived.. There are no words to describe THAT feeling is there? That - that love could burn even brighter and stronger as time passed - was amazing!! All parents know what I am saying. In the back of my mind, I knew those feeling made me vulnerable to incomparable pain should something happen to Sean (or Danielle). But how could it? Like every parent, I took every care and precaution I could!!!

I still cannot believe that this happened to my funny, articulate, personable boy - who made us smile and laugh so much?!!! Last week a family found their 18 year old autistic son who went missing in Los Angleles - 20 days after he went missing. He was dehydrated and hurt, but ALIVE. WHY could WE not locate Sean when he needed us??!! How do we live with this guilt?

... I recently spoke to a cafe owner in Eugene OR who claimed to have seen someone resembling Sean. He did recall braces....& claims to have seen "Sean" late spring/early summer. On the other hand he says there are SO many street youth and MANY missing persons fliers in Eugene. I hope that he calls me if he sees "Sean" again.

THANK YOU to all those continuing to POST Sean's fliers. PLEASE send PICTURES & location so that we can POST. It is good to know where the fliers are. Claude saw a black & white flier in Berkeley yesterday - Please send PM or email lynnkching@yahoo.com with your ADDRESS to have fliers MAILED TO YOU anywhere in the U.S....I still have BOXES & BOXES of Sean's fliers.

See www.seansidi.com or www.facebook.com/findseansidi for more information on the search for critically injured Sean Sidi, age 19 (time of missing), missing from San Francisco, CA since May 21, 2013. Today is Sean SIDI's BIRTHDAY

We gather as a family tonight to remember Sean in HOPE.    HOPE that we will be reunited with our precious Sean, soon. HOPE that the angels are protecting him until that day arrives. HOPE for answers.

Sean’s Uncle Alan from England, Aunt Roland from New York, and grandmother Colette, will join us –Sean’s Aunt Francoise, also from England, has sent a poem which we will read tonight at dinner. Many others will attend in spirit.

Attached is a collage of Sean with friends and family. There are many who do not appear who are just as precious. A separate collage appears featuring Sean’s best friend and sister – Danielle, with the handmade gift that Danielle made for Sean for his 15th birthday. There are no words to describe their wonderful brother-sister relationship, or Danielle’s pain since Sean vanished…. Sean cherished Danielle’s gift & kept it on his desk ever since.

Please keep Sean in your prayers,

In Hope,
Danielle, Lynn & Claude

What: Walk for Sean

May 21, 2014, will mark 1 year since our beloved Sean (SIDI) vanished from San Francisco. CA without a trace….NO cell phone, bank card, email, FB or other activity for nearly a year. On that day, EVERY parent’s worst nightmare occurred!! Out of left Field, WITHOUT WARNING & Forever Changing Our Lives.

We know there are NO guarantees that we will find SEAN, or even find answers as to what happened to him. Nonetheless, we continue to do what EVERY parent would do – KEEP THE SEARCH ALIVE!!

ON SATURDAY, MAY 17, 2014, we invite YOU to join US in walking Sean’s last known route the day he vanished. HELP US KEEP AWARENESS OF THE CONTINUED SEARCH FOR SEAN ALIVE & DEMONSTRATE THE STRENGTH OF OUR COMMUNITY.

ROUTE: We will start at FAIS-HIS (French American Int’l School/International School) at 150 Oak Street, San Francisco. SEAN SIDI HAS BEEN MISSING FOR OVER 10 MONTHS...

Sean has been missing for over 10 months, now. We are PAINFULLY AWARE that Sean has NOT used his cell phone, bank card, email, or FB SINCE HE VANISHED from San Francisco, CA on May 21, 2013.....If Sean is alive, we know that significant medical issues are likely present. Still, we continue to pray and hope for a miracle.

Recently, friends JENNY & OPIE arranged for all federal buildings from Sacramento to Los Angeles to display an electronic version of Sean's missing person flier!! Thank you Jenny & OPIE for doing this!!

If anyone has other ideas as to how we may further keep the search for Sean alive, please let us know. We would welcome any help.

In Hope,

Lynn, Claude & Danielle

SEAN SIDI FAMILY APPEALS TO SAN FRANCISCO POLICE TO ISSUE BOLO in CALIFORNIA

In an effort to locate Sean (SIDI) in time, we have asked San Francisco Police to issue a statewide BOLO (Be on The Lookout) in California, for Sean, age 19, missing from San Francisco CA since May 21, 2013. Below are excerpts of the email we sent to Captain McFadden TODAY. Captain McFadden replaced Captain Jason Fox - who previously handled Sean's case.

WE AWAIT SFPD'S RESPONSE...and will let you know.

************
Re: Request for... Statewide BOLO for Brain Injured Teen, Sean SIDI

Dear Captain McFadden,

I am the parent of (brain injured teen), Sean SIDI, who has been missing from San Francisco since May 21, 2013.... The purpose of this letter is to request that the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) issue a STATEWIDE ‘Be On the Look Out” (BOLO) for Sean (SIDI). Sean, who is considered “At Risk” by SFPD has now been missing for over 8 months. Per a letter provided SFPD by Dr. Geoff Manley, Sean’s neurosurgeon, Sean’s pre-existing medical condition puts him at high risk of death on the streets.

The issuance of a current statewide BOLO has been strongly recommended by various law enforcement persons in other jurisdictions who we have encountered in the search for Sean…..

During our last meeting with Captain Fox in September 2013, he mentioned that the search for Sean – just 4 months old at that time - was in its early stages, in the context of a missing person’s case. Captain Fox was right. Now - over eight months after Sean went missing – we have yet to find Sean or answers to Sean’s disappearance on May 21, 2013.

..........However, despite the efforts of so many, we believe that the assistance of law enforcement is CRUCIAL in the search for Sean (SIDI). To that end, we are requesting that SFPD issue a statewide BOLO for Sean SIDI.

We fervently hope that you will consider this request. We would be very grateful if you would let us know your decision.

Best Regards,
Lynn Ching and Claude SIDI
