Help Us In the Search for Sean SIDI

We do not have any updates.  Please keep Sean (SIDI) in your prayers.

Please help us share Sean's fliers and news about search for Sean with friends, family & contacts in throughout the U.S.   Sean is not cognizant of us.  Somehow, we will have to locate Sean - among the homeless, perhaps very far from home...

see www.facebook.com/findseansidi or www.seansidi.com for more information on the desperate search for brain injured Sean SIDI, age 19, missing from San Francisco, CA since May 21, 2013. We will MAIL you Sean's colored fliers ANYWHERE in the U.S. if you would like to help us post. Email lynnkching@yahoo.com with your mailing address for fliers.

URGENT!! HELP NEEDED POSTING SEAN SIDI'S FLIERS THROUGHOUT MARIN AND SONOMA COUNTY

Dear Sean Sidi Friends and Family,

We urgently need your help!!   Over the last several weeks, we have received various sightings of "Sean".  Some have been several months old, others more recent.  While NONE of the sightings have been confirmed (i.e identified by someone who knows Sean personally), based on information received, we have reason to believe that Sean is currently alive - though NOT WELL (this is based on sighting information).

We ALSO have reason to believe that "Sean" (who may or may not be with others) may be traveling either on Hwy 101 or Hwy 1 through Sonoma and Marin County in the near future.

WE ARE DESPERATELY SEEKING HELP POSTING SEAN'S MISSING PERSON FLIERS THROUGHOUT MARIN, NOVATO, PETALUMA, SANTA ROSA,, AND NORTH UP HWY 101 and HYW 1.

IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW CAN HELP POST SEAN'S FLIERS IN THESE AREAS, WE WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.

PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH ANYONE (or any organizations) YOU KNOW - WHO COULD HELP.

Sean's missing person fliers can be obtained by emailing lynnkching@yahoo.com.

The fliers can also be downloaded from www.seansidi.com or www.facebook.com/findseansidi

THANK YOU!

Lynn & Claude Sidi

A Note From The Family of Sean Sidi & Project Jason's 18 Wheel Angels

Dear All,

THANK YOU to those of you who attended the Joint Awareness Vigil on Saturday, September 14, 2013. We were moved to see so many friends and family in attendance.  The vigil was very helpful in raising public awareness of our search for SEAN, and generating new tips.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Sean has now been missing for 4 months!

Based on information to date, we feel that Sean is very likely homeless, wandering aimlessly and too ill to ask for help, or to know that he needs help.    Locating him will NOT be easy.   With your help, we are doing everything in our power to locate Sean.

IT IS ALL ABOUT GETTING THE WORD OUT !!!!!

Here are just a few of the things that are being done to help locate Sean:

1.            The ‘National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’ (“NCMEC”), in conjunction with its corporate poster partners has posted Sean’s fliers in the Western United States and Washington, D.C.

2.            “Project Jason”-  In 2003, Kelly Murphy established “Project Jason”, after her 19 year old son, Jason, vanished without a trace in June 2001, from Omaha, Nebraska.  See www.projectjason.org.  Project Jason, assists families of missing persons and has several very creative programs designed to raise public awareness of missing persons:

“18 Wheels Angel Program”

18 Wheel Angels is an all volunteer program in which truck drivers volunteer their time and resources to help locate missing loved ones.

During the month of September 2013, Sean will be featured in several Truckers magazines.  Truckers driving across the United States, will be downloading and posting SEAN’s ’18 Wheels Angel’ flier as they travel.  A copy of Sean’s 18 Wheel Angels Flier is featured in this post.    Thank you to Project Jason and all the 18 Wheel Angels posting Sean’s fliers!!

“Come Home Program”

Come Home is a unique national missing person’s locator program sponsored by Project Jason. Come Home posters are placed at homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and other locations where homeless persons gather.   In the near future, a “COME HOME” poster will be designed for SEAN by Project Jason.  Sean’s ‘COME HOME’ poster will be downloaded and posted by homeless shelters and soup kitchens across the nation, who have agreed to partner with PROJECT JASON to help locate missing persons.

Thank you Project Jason for all you have done!!!!

3.           MISSING” TV SHOWSean will be featured on the TV show, “Missing”, the week of October 21, 2013 on KTVU Channel 2 (San Francisco).  We will provide more specific information as to the exact time and date, as soon as possible.

4.            BillboardsLostNMissing, a non profit organization supporting families of missing persons, has negotiated for display of a billboard at Valencia Street (BETWEEN Duboce & Market St) in San Francisco, featuring Sean and the 4 other young men missing from San Francisco:  Chrishtian Hughes, Shawn Dickerson, Cameron Remmer and Jackson Miller.   The billboard is UP – COME AND SEE IT!   Thank you LostNMissing!!!

5.            Mass Mailing to Law EnforcementStarting with San Francisco, then expanding to every city in California and beyond, we will be mass mailing a letter and Sean’s flier to law enforcement across the United States.  Believe it or not, this has located some missing persons.

6.            Mass Mailing to Soup Kitchens and Homeless SheltersStarting with San Francisco, then expanding to every city in California and beyond, we will be mass mailing a letter and Project Jason’s “Come Home” flier to homeless shelters and soup kitchens across the United States.  This has worked for some.

7.          Posting Sean’s Fliers We will continue to post Sean’s fliers.    Tips continue to come in from the fliers posted by all of you.   If you need fliers to post, please email lynnkching@yahoo.com.

A note from Sidi Family Friend Kathleen Fazekas

Dear Sidi Friends and San Francisco Community,

Despite several searches by hundreds of people, and the distribution of over 30,000 missing person fliers, Sean has still not been located.  The Sidi Family continues to move forward in hopes of finding their son.  They have announced that they will be holding a “Joint Awareness Vigil” this coming Saturday, September 14th @ 2:00pm with 4 other families who also have sons missing from San Francisco.  Please join us if you can. Come hear the families speak about their on-going search for their missing sons, and what – if anything – San Francisco Police is doing to help locate these young men.

WHAT:          ‘Joint Awareness Vigil’ (attached is the flier)
WHERE:       Golden Gate Park – Music Concourse (next to Academy of Science)
WHEN:         Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
WHY:            The purpose of the Joint Awareness Vigil is to raise public awareness of the families’ desperate search to locate their sons, ALL of whom went missing in San Francisco:  Sean Sidi (19 yrs old, missing May 21, 2013); Chrishtian Hughes (20 yrs old, missing February 7, 2013); Shawn Dickerson(age 24, missing December 2, 2011); Cameron Remmer (31 yrs old, missing October 6, 2011); Jackson Miller (23 yrs old, missing May 15, 2010).

Why are so many young men missing from San Francisco?  What is San Francisco Police doing to help the families locate their sons?  Do missing boys in San Francisco get less attention from law enforcement than missing girls?

According to Kym Pasqualini, Founder of the ‘National Center for Missing Adults, “These families have faced numerous barriers with San Francisco Police Department in their individual searches for their children, and their concern as to what exactly is being done by San Francisco Police, to find these young men is warranted.”

PARKING OPTIONS: 1) Street; 2)  Music Concourse parking lot - enter Fulton & 10th / $5 per hour; 3) Event Parking behind Music Concourse - enter 9th/Lincoln or Fulton & 8th & drive to Music Concourse Dr ($ 8 /day).  You will need to have a copy of Sean's Missing Flier to show that you are part of event (attached is a copy of the flier); 4)  Kezar Lot (on Stanyan)

For continued updates on Sean, you may visit either Facebook or the website http://www.facebook.com/findseansidi and http://www.seansidi.com.  And for more information, you may contact Lynn Ching (Sean Sidi’s mom) 415-713-5913.

The Sidi’s greatly appreciate your continued support, as your support gives them strength to continue their search for Sean.

Thank you on behalf of the Sidi Family,

Kathleen Fazekas
