Help find Sean Sidi

The surveillance shots we viewed (at Vista Sprinter Station) based on the caller's time, place etc. - were NOT Sean. We emailed the shots to the person who CALLED IN the sighting and he does not believe the screen shots (we sent 2 different persons) was the "Sean" that he saw..however, we did not see any other 'match'. The code enforcement officer did not recall speaking to someone meeting our Sean's description. Therefore, and while the search continues in Oceanside, CA - the sighting remains UNCONFIRMED. 

WE ARE IN AWE OF OUR 7 YEAR OLD NEIGHBOR, MILO. Yesterday, Milo decided (his idea!!!) to sell lemonade to raise money to search for Sean. He (with the help of his incredible parents), prepared organic lemonade & set up a lemonade stand in Bernal Heights, San Francisco. 

Milo sold lemonade & his ORIGINAL artwork (pictured below). He also handed each customer one of Sean's fliers AND asked them POST the flier. 

It was AMAZING!!! In a matter of 2 hours, MILO raised $133 which he donated to search for Sean!! 

MILO NOT ONLY RAISED MONEY TO SEARCH FOR SEAN - HE DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB OF SPREADING THE WORD of OUR SEARCH FOR SEAN!!!! While many in the neighborhood had heard of our search for Sean, SOME HAD NOT!!!! 

THANK YOU MILO!!! THE MONEY YOU RAISED WILL BE USED TO PURCHASE MORE FLIERS, & TO PAY FOR SUPPLIES & POSTAGE USED IN OUR on-going campaign to mail Sean's fliers to soup kitchens, homeless shelters, & hospitals in California and across the United States.

Sean remains missing. Still no picture or other confirmation that Sean is in Venice Beach (or anywhere else). K-9 Forensics has done their best. However, until confirmation in the form of a picture or confirmed sighting is rendered, we will assume that Sean could be ANYWHERE. 

TO DATE NEITHER PACIFIC POLICE SUB STATION (IN LOCALE OF VENICE BEACH) OR THE VENICE BEACH SUBSTATION HAS RETURNED OUR CALLS - over 3 days. TO DATE, NO "LIVE" PERSON AT THE MENTIONED POLICE STATIONS HAS PICKED UP THE TELEPHONE. Our usual procedure is to email Sean's flier to the appropriate police station. THIS IS THE ONLY INSTANCE in the year that Sean has been missing where WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE FROM A POLICE STATION. 

However, the SANTA MONICA POLICE STATION HAS distributed Sean's fliers to LE in Santa Monica (town NEXT to Venice Beach).

TO DATE APPROXIMATELY 45 PEOPLE HAVE CONFIRMED (VIA EMAIL) THAT THEY WILL ATTEND THE WALK FOR SEAN NEXT WEEK. WE WILL HAVE SPECIAL T SHIRTS FOR THOSE ATTENDING & would like a headcount, if possible.

Someone from Chicago, ILLINOIS sent me A PHOTO of this advertisement featuring SEAN SIDI (HAVE YOU SEEN ME?) in a local newspaper. Someone else in Washington D.C. also reported seeing the ad.

What: Walk for Sean 

May 21, 2014, will mark 1 year since our beloved Sean (SIDI) vanished from San Francisco. CA without a trace….NO cell phone, bank card, email, FB or other activity for nearly a year. On that day, EVERY parent’s worst nightmare occurred!! Out of left Field, WITHOUT WARNING & Forever Changing Our Lives. 

We know there are NO guarantees that we will find SEAN, or even find answers as to what happened to him. Nonetheless, we continue to do what EVERY parent would do – KEEP THE SEARCH ALIVE!!

ON SATURDAY, MAY 17, 2014, we invite YOU to join US in walking Sean’s last known route the day he vanished. HELP US KEEP AWARENESS OF THE CONTINUED SEARCH FOR SEAN ALIVE & DEMONSTRATE THE STRENGTH OF OUR COMMUNITY. 

ROUTE: We will start at FAIS-HIS (French American Int’l School/International School) at 150 Oak Street, San Francisco. Sean attended FAIS/IHS from K-12, and visited with a former high school teacher @ 11:40 am the day that he vanished, May 21, 2013. This was the LAST TIME Sean was seen alive. We will WALK to Golden Gate Park, the pinged location of Sean’s last phone call (with his dad). AT THE END OF THE WALK, we hope to hear from special guests, including K-9 Forensics, the dog search and rescue team who searched for Sean in December.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR SEAN, PARTICULARLY AMONG THE HOMELESS!! He has suffered a recent brain injury and may be disoriented and not know his name and/or his prior life. is 19 yrs. old, Asian/White, 5'5" 120 lbs and slim build, dark brown hair & eyes, wears silver dental braces, has dimples, and scar on right forehead from brain surgery.
